Heartbreak for Knight Men at OIT

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Oregon Tech's Nathan Wade scored the game winning goal with just three minutes remaining in the game, lifting the Hustlin' Owls to a 3-2 Cascade Conference win over Warner Pacific Tuesday night on Trevor Derrah Field at Steen Sports Park.

Oregon Tech improved to 4-3 in CCC play and 5-6 on the season with the win as Warner Pacific fell to 3-6 on the season and 2-5 in CCC play.

Oregon Tech took a 1-0 lead in the 31st minute as Jackson Wold took a deflected ball and scored from 12 yards out. Wade made it a 2-0 lead for the Hustlin' Owls as he took a Wold long ball and scored from 6 yards out in the 37th minute as Tech took a 2-0 lead into the half

Warner Pacific answered with 2 second half goals to tie the game at 2-2. In the 64th minute Edgar Contreras took a Ricky Carmolinga through ball over the OIT defense and scored from 15 yards out. Almir Celebic then tied the game as the Oregon Tech defense gave Celebic the ball right in front of the Tech goal and he made them pay scoring from 15 yards out in the 78th minute.

The Hustlin' Owls then changed momentum and the result as Wade scored his second goal of the game heading in a perfect cross from Casey Oltman off a corner kick from 8 yards away.
