Geovanny Vazquez,
Almir Celebic,
Andres Campos, and
Jimmy Johnson each scored a pair of goals to lead Warner Pacific.
How It Happened• The Lion defense looked up to the task in the early action as they looped plenty of numbers behind the ball and snuffed out several WPC chances.
• Vazquez pounced on a deflected ball in the 13th minute to unlock the face of goal, and the Knights added three more before halftime.
• Warner Pacific sent on 11 new players for the second period and wore down a weary MU back line.
• Almir Celebic was a menace going forward from the wing, scoring two goals and assisting on another.
• MU subsitute goalkeeper Kevin Cassell did well to save a penalty kick in the 87th minute.
Up Next• The Knights will travel to Newberg, Oregon to take on George Fox next Tuesday, September 9 at 6pm.
