PORTLAND, OR | The Warner Pacific Men's Soccer team lost today to Southern Oregon by a score of 2-0 on a very hot day out at Eastside Timbers Complex.
The Knights put plenty of pressure on Southern Oregon's goalkeeper with 9 shots on goal with a total of 13 shots taken. Southern Oregon goalkeeper, Casey Ruvolo saved 8 shots. Southern Oregon put a decent number of shots at the net as well with 11 of those out of the total 16 shots taken.
Josepher Juarez-Cruz did pretty well with 7 saves but unfortunately let a couple in to give Southern Oregon the final advantage.
"Not getting the result we had hoped for is always disappointing," Head Coach,
Troy Ready, said. "We created enough chances in attacking moments but weren't good enough in our finishing today. Our group is extremely talented, and our target is to lean further into unity moving forward. We are hungry to respond tomorrow."
Southern Oregon's first goal of the game came in the 19
th minute by Alan Gaytan assisted by Adrian Villegas. The second goal of the game came in the 47
th minute by Evan Norconk assisted again by Adrian Villegas.

The Knights will have a quick turnaround as they take on the Owls of Oregon Tech tomorrow at 12pm at Eastside Timbers Complex.
