Kirkland, WA | The Knights were on the road on a nice Seattle day on a beautiful grass field taking on the Eagles of Northwest University.
The Knights drew their first draw of the season with a final score of 0-0. Knights Goalkeeper,
Josepher Juarez-Cruz, didn't have a whole bunch to do today but the three goals on goal he did have to defend, he defended well and let nothing hit the back of the net. The Knights weren't able to get anything to go in the net but they did outshoot the Eagles with 6 shots on goal. Total shots were 10-8 in favor of the Knights.
Brendon Leach had two shots on goal while
Miguel Andalon-Ordaz, Bodo Calderon, and
Chanin Orlandin each had one shot on goal.
"Honestly, today's result is a hard one to swallow," Head Coach,
Troy Ready said. "We started the game poorly, but then found our stride and had several quality chances to win the game. Credit to their goalkeeper who made multiple big saves from close range to preserve a tie for them. In our pursuit of a third straight championship, we can't be dropping points in the table. What's done is done so our focus now is on getting 3 points tomorrow against Evergreen."
The Knights go to 5-3-1 overall and 2-2-1 in conference.
