Portland, Ore.| The Warner Pacific Knights Softball Program has signed Sophomore transfer Sophia Cherry to the 2025 squad.
 
"We are excited to have Sofia be coming back home and joining the WarnerPac," Head Coach Ashton Porter said. "She is a local kid that made a name for herself in the area throughout her high school and club days. She brings tons of talent as well as a great team mindset. She will be a great addition and will come in eager to fight with this team."
 
Cherry is from right here in Portland, Oregon and attended Westview High School until completion in 2024. Cherry while in high school played softball all four years. Cherry at Westview made first team as a catcher three years in a row. Cherry also made second-team as an outfielder her freshman year. After high school, Cherry went to Odessa College for her first year of higher education. Cherry will be coming to Warner Pacific as a sophomore and plans to study business with a minor in health.
 
A couple of fun facts about Cherry is that she loves to lift and study health and fitness.
