Portland, Ore.| The Warner Pacific Knights softball program is excited to announce the addition of junior transfer shortstop Jordan McArther for the upcoming season.

A native of Roseburg, Oregon, McArther joins the Knights after an impressive start to her collegiate softball career at Umpqua Community College. Returning to compete in Oregon, she brings proven success, defensive versatility, and leadership to the Warner Pacific softball program.

McArther graduated from Roseburg High School in 2024 after an outstanding prep career. During her time with the Indians, she earned Second Team 6A All-Southwest Conference honors as an infielder and was also recognized with Honorable Mention 6A All-Southwest Conference honors. Her steady defensive play and consistent offensive production helped establish her as one of the top infielders in the conference.

Following high school, McArther continued her softball career at Umpqua Community College, where she quickly made an impact. She earned First Team All-South Region NWAC honors as an infielder, showcasing her ability to compete at a high collegiate level and further establishing herself as one of the region's top players.

Head Coach Ashton Porter is excited to round out this year's recruiting class with the addition of McArther.

"Jordan will be rounding up our recruiting class for this season," Porter said. "We are super excited about the talent and perseverance she brings to WPU. Jordan is a middle infielder with great range and even more heart. She will immediately come in and be making an impact for our team this season."

McArther will complete her degree in sports management while competing for the Knights. Her passion for athletics and desire to build a career in sports make Warner Pacific an excellent fit for both her academic and athletic goals.

Away from the softball field, McArther enjoys horseback riding. Whether on the diamond or in the saddle, she embraces competition, discipline, and the outdoors.

The Knights are thrilled to welcome McArther to Warner Pacific and look forward to the experience, leadership, and consistency she will bring to the infield. Her success at both the high school and collegiate levels makes her an exciting addition as the Knights continue building for the future.
