Portland, Ore. | The Warner Pacific University men's golf team competed on its home course this week, hosting the Tournament of Knights at Glendoveer Golf Course. The Knights fielded two teams in the event, with the WPU "A" team putting together a strong two-day performance and several Warner Pacific golfers turning in notable individual rounds.

Warner Pacific's "A" team was led by Braylon Yamada and Micah Chadwick who both finished with scores of 148. Jack Dalberg rebounded nicely finishing the tournament with a score of 150 tying with freshman Henry Paul. After opening the tournament with a team score of 300, the group followed with a 296-round combining to finish first overall with a score of 596.

Warner Pacific's "B" squad also gained valuable tournament experience. Orlando Chiquiti opened with a 79 yesterday and followed that up with a 75 today. Colby Schmidt, Greyson Hardesty, and Luke Clarizio each finished the second round today shooting a 78.

Adrian Aragon a freshman from Olympic College won the overall individual championship shooting one under par through 36 holes.

The Knights will be in action next at the CU Warrior Classic on October 3rd hosted by Corban University and played at Stone Creek Golf Club.
