Box Score 3 PORTLAND, Ore. - Warner Pacific volleyball returned from a long road trip with a 1-2 record, with losses to nationally ranked teams College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon, and a win over Walla Walla University.

The Knights gave a good effort but ultimately fell in straight sets to a top-10 C of I squad on Friday night. C of I cruised through the opening set 25-16, but set 2 was a struggle. WPC scored the first five points and extended the lead to 15-8 on back-to-back
Lauren Tennyson kills. C of I mounted the comeback however, and won the frame 25-22.
Set three was also close, but the Yotes went on an 8-2 run to break a 17-17 tie and ended the match with a 25-19 score.
Tennyson led the Knights with 12 kills, with
Janessa Mast adding 11 kills and 10 digs.
#13 Eastern Oregon 3, Warner Pacific 0
Facing a powerful EOU team, the Knights led for most of the first set. WP led late 21-20, but the Mountaineers rattled off five of the final six points to take it 25-21.

The second set was a much more dominant one for the Mounties as they hit an impressive .459 from the floor as a squad. Up 20-14 late, EOU scored the final five points to win going away.

Set three was a nail bitter for the home crowd as Warner Pacific scored the first four points. The team traded points for much of the set until the Knights took a 21-18 lead. The Mountaineers bounced back with four-straight points to go ahead 22-21.

The Knights did not go down easily, however, as they rallied for a couple straight points to take a 24-23 lead. Later in the set and down 28-27, EOU scored the final three points, capping it off with a block to seal the victory 30-28.
Janessa Mast led WP with 12 kills, while Kealea Rosa had 32 assists.
Warner Pacific 3, Walla Walla 0
With both teams were playing their third match in four days, it was the Knights that had the edge on Sunday, defeating Walla Walla in straight sets.

Warner Pacific wasted little time getting things going in the first set, going on a 4-1 run to open the match. Janessa Mast served Warner Pacific to eight straight points and remained in control the rest of the set and took the opener 25-12.

The host Wolves were the aggressor in the second set and built a 15-11 lead.  WPC fought their way back into the set, tying it up at 17-17. Caldora Blackburn would answer to put the Wolves up one, but from there the set turned in favor of the Knights. Up 24-22,
Jordan Hunter hit a strike up the middle that ended a hard fought set in favor the Knights 25-22.
WP again had trouble early in set three, allowing WWU to move out to a 9-7 lead. The Knights took over from there, and closed out the match with seven straight points.
Janessa Mast capped a solid weekend with 15 more kills, while
M'Kailah Redden has 12 kills with 0 errors for the match.
