Knights Lose Game Three To The Owls

Abby Carlson hurls pitch against Oregon Tech
Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Klamath Falls, Ore.-
The Knights struggled to get anything going today as they lose game three of the four game series by a score of 8-0.

The Knights were able to get five hits though but unfortunately weren't able to string them together in the same innings to push runs across. Sammie Braukmiller was the only Knight that was able to get multiple hits picking up two in three total at-bats. She singled through the 6 hole in the first inning and singled through the 4 hole in the third.

As for the Owls, they scored eight runs on 12 hits. Four players had multiple hits for the Owls with the leader being Maggie Buckholz who went three for three with a single, a double, and a triple falling just a homer short of the cycle picking up 2 RBI's in the game.

The Owls pitcher, Kacie Schmidt was excellent all day pitching a complete game shutout (6 innings) only giving up 5 hits and walking only one.
