FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - May 26th, 2026
Portland, Ore.| The Warner Pacific University men's soccer program has announced the addition of junior transfer Alfredo Jimenez to the Knights roster for the upcoming season. Jimenez comes to Warner Pacific after a successful two-year career at Columbia Basin College.
"
Alfredo is an elite outside back that will make an immediate impact within our conference," Head Coach
Troy Ready said. "He fits perfectly the profile of what we look for in a player and is poised and ready to make his mark as part of our nationally acclaimed program. We are thrilled to haveÂ
Alfredo at Warner Pacific."
Originally from Pasco, Washington, Jimenez attended Chiawana High School where he competed in soccer throughout all four years of high school. During his high school career, he consistently earned recognition for his play on the field, collecting First Team All-Conference honors, Second Team All-Conference honors, and Honorable Mention accolades.
Following high school, Jimenez continued his soccer journey at Columbia Basin College, where he quickly established himself as one of the program's top performers. Over his two seasons with the Hawks, he earned NWAC All-Star honors twice, showcasing his skill, consistency, and leadership at the collegiate level.
Jimenez now brings that experience and success to Warner Pacific as he prepares for the next step in both his academic and athletic career. He plans to study business while competing for the Knights in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
Away from the soccer field, Jimenez has developed another talent as a barber, working a side gig cutting hair for friends and clients. His entrepreneurial mindset and creativity fit naturally with his interest in business studies.
The Knights are excited to welcome Jimenez to Portland and look forward to the leadership, experience, and competitive energy he will bring to the Warner Pacific University men's soccer program.
