Warner Pacific Signs Felix Mendoza to the 2026 Squad

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – May 29th, 2026

Portland, Ore.| The Warner Pacific Knights men's soccer program is excited to announce the addition of junior transfer Felix Mendoza to the roster for the upcoming season.

Mendoza joins the Knights from Columbia Basin College after spending the past two years developing his game at the collegiate level. Originally from Pasco, Washington, Mendoza attended Chiawana High School, where he was a dedicated member of the soccer program throughout all four years of his high school career.

During his time at Chiawana, Mendoza established himself as a hardworking and reliable player, helping contribute to the program's success while gaining valuable experience against strong competition. His commitment to the sport and continued development earned him the opportunity to continue his soccer career at Columbia Basin College following graduation.

Over the past two seasons at Columbia Basin, Mendoza continued to grow as a player while competing at the collegiate level. The experience and maturity he gained there will serve him well as he takes the next step in his academic and athletic journey at Warner Pacific.

Head Coach Troy Ready is excited about what Mendoza brings to the Knights.

"Felix will bring a level of maturity and leadership to our team," Ready said. "He is a big-time player that shines in big-time moments. One of our objectives heading into next season was to continue strengthening our attacking options, and Felix certainly fulfills that desire."

In the classroom, Mendoza plans to pursue a degree in physical education. His passion for athletics and interest in helping others develop through sports make physical education a natural fit for his future career goals.

The Knights are excited to welcome Mendoza to the Warner Pacific community and look forward to the experience, leadership, and attacking presence he will bring to the men's soccer program. As he begins his junior season in Portland, Mendoza will look to make an immediate impact both on the field and in the classroom.
