Portland, Ore.| The Warner Pacific Knights men's soccer program is proud to announce the signing of true freshman recruit Alessandro Huerta, a talented local player who will remain in his hometown to continue both his academic and athletic career.

A native of Portland, Oregon, Huerta attended La Salle Catholic Prep, where he was a member of the soccer program throughout all four years of high school. During his prep career, he helped lead the Falcons to an OSAA State Championship, gaining valuable experience competing at the highest level of high school soccer in Oregon.

Huerta's success on the field was fueled by his dedication to the game and commitment to his teammates. As a four-year soccer player at La Salle Catholic Prep, he developed into a dependable competitor whose experience in championship-level soccer will serve him well as he transitions to the collegiate game.

Head Coach Troy Ready is excited about what Huerta will bring to the Knights midfield.

"Alessandro is a technical, central midfield player who will provide additional depth and quality to our program," Ready said. "His passion for the game and ability to learn and develop will serve him well in the years ahead."

In the classroom, Huerta plans to pursue a degree in sports medicine. His interest in athletic performance, health, and rehabilitation aligns well with his competitive background and future career aspirations.

Away from the field, Huerta is a passionate music enthusiast who enjoys listening to and exploring a wide variety of music. His love for music provides a creative outlet and balance to his busy schedule as a student-athlete.

The Knights are thrilled to welcome Huerta to the Warner Pacific family and look forward to watching the Portland native continue his growth on and off the field as he begins his collegiate career.
