Box Score ASHLAND, Ore. - A scoring drought at the end of the first half that stretched into the early portion of the second doomed Warner Pacific to a 76-63 loss at Southern Oregon tonight.
The Knights trailed just 21-17 with seven minutes on the clock in the first period. The host Raiders proceeded to reel off 15 straight points over the next four minutes, and went into the break with a 39-21 lead.
The woes on the offensive end of the floor continued for WP after halftime, allowing SOU to add to their advantage which eventually reached as much as 30 points (55-25).

Matt Gregg urged his troops to keep fighting, and the effort started to make a difference toward the end of the game. With the Knights trailing 66-37 with 7:52 to play, WP outscored the Raiders 26-10 the rest of the way to make the game respectable and head back to Portland with something to build on. Â
Ali Campbell had 16 points and six rebounds for Warner Pacific (3-7, 0-2).
Lacy Wood added 14 points and four rebounds and
Janelle Weiss had 10 points.
Autumn Durand led the Raiders (11-1, 2-0 CCC) with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Carly Meister added 10 points and eight boards.
