PORTLAND | Warner Pacific faced off against a very good NCAA Division II University of Alaska Anchorage team in a Tuesday matinee exhibition contest. Despite the Knights' best offensive performance thus far, shooting 54.3% from the field, the Knights fell to the Seawolves 93-76.

The Rundown
Gabriella Bruno led the Knights in scoring with 23 points while snagging five rebounds and dishing out five assists. The junior out of Lake Oswego went 8-9 from the stripe.

Khloe Snair came off the bench to score 13 points while
Courtney Jackson finished with 11.

The Knights gave the Seawolves a run for their money in the first quarter, outscoring UAA 25-22 -- the second most points scored in a single quarter against an UAA program since the game went to the four quarter system six years ago.

Warner Pacific continued to show an impressive effort through most of the second quarter, leading 37-32 before UAA started to get hot and chip away. The team eventually flipped the score and headed into the locker room with a four point lead.

The Knights shot 64% from the field in the first half.

UAA came out of the intermission with a dominating performance, outscoring the Knights 23-10, expanding their lead to one WPU would never quite be able to catch.

The Seawolves were led from the hot shooting of Laura Ingram's 26 points – shooting 8-11 from behind the arch.

Warner Pacific finished the day missing one free throw, shooting 95.7% from the charity stripe. The Knights outscored the Seawolves 32-30 in the paint.

The Knights finished the day with 17 assists on 25 made field goals.
