Head Coach
Ashton Porter is excited about the versatility and talent Yates will bring to the Knights program.
"Devyn will be another one of our talented freshmen coming in for next year's roster," Porter said. "She brings a ton of skills and will work as a true utility player. We are excited to see what she will do as a Knight next year."
At Warner Pacific, Yates plans to pursue a degree in biology while minoring in psychology. Her academic interests reflect her curiosity, dedication to learning, and desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Away from the softball field, Yates has a unique musical background. She has played the cello for eight years, developing discipline, creativity, and a love for music alongside her athletic pursuits.
The Knights are thrilled to welcome Yates to the Warner Pacific family and look forward to watching her continue to excel both academically and athletically as she begins her collegiate career in Portland.
